About Me

 Hi! My name is Justin Woodard and I’ve been working in the games industry as a VFX or Technical Artist for over 18 years. Either way, I just consider myself a game developer.

 I’m currently earning a 2nd Bachelor’s degree online at Auburn University focusing on Computer Science. I'm also pursuing several related interests such as graphics programming, basic engineering, circuitry, and 3D printing.

 I enjoy most sports, mostly as a spectator, and grew up as an avid Atlanta Braves fan. I do try and get outside to golf as much as possible. In my downtime I also enjoy tabletop wargaming, mostly Warhammer 40k content.

 To keep myself sane during the COVID lockdown, I built and painted my first custom bobber motorcycle featuring iconography of all my previous games/studios. Check it out through the instagram link below.

 I'm a VES member and joined the VES Washington Board of Managers.

 I'm a Star Wars kid at heart. However, the crazy lore of Warhammer 40k is a close 2nd.

Favorite Video Games?
 Which decade?!... This is impossible to answer but for now we'll just say most of the Soulsborne series of games.

What do I like to do outside of work?
 Similar to what I posted in my blurb above... I like to golf and get into overly complicated projects.
